GreenLight Privacy Policy

RATIFIED by the principal 2026-08-07. Effective date is stamped at publication.

Effective date: 2026-08-07

GreenLight is operated by Wells Capital Holdings, LLC ("we," "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers the GreenLight website and platform.

What we collect

When you join the founding list: your email address, and standard technical details that arrive with any web request (IP address, browser type, and the campaign tags on the link you clicked, so we know which ad or email brought you).

When you create an account: your name, email, password (stored only as a secure hash), and the profile you choose to share: what you talk about, what you are building, and your matching preferences.

When you use the platform: your matches, messages to other members, bookings, episodes you link, and how you use your monthly conversations. Your messages are private to you and the person you matched with. We do not read, mine, or run private member content through automated analysis.

When you buy something: payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. We keep records of what you bought and the terms you agreed to.

When someone invites you as a guest: your email and, if you sign a recording release, your typed name and the exact text you agreed to.

How we use it

To run the service: matching, messaging, scheduling, and your account. To email you the things you asked for: activation links, wave invitations, and confirmations. To measure our advertising: if you arrived from an ad, we report the signup event to the ad platform so we know the ad worked. To keep the platform safe: reviewing reported concerns through our human review process. To meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share member content with advertisers.

Who we share it with

Service providers who run parts of the platform under contract: Vercel (hosting), Neon (database), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Meta (advertising measurement, limited to the signup event and standard web identifiers). Each receives only what its function requires. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or in connection with a sale or reorganization of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply to your data.

Cookies and advertising

The public website uses the Meta pixel to measure whether our ads work. You can limit ad tracking through your browser settings and through Meta's ad preferences. The platform itself uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from marketing email with one click at any time; the link is in every email. You can access, correct, or delete your account information by contacting us at the address below. If you delete your account, your personal information is retained for up to 12 months and then permanently removed, except records we are required to keep, such as billing records and executed agreements. Residents of certain states and countries have additional rights under laws such as the CCPA and GDPR; to exercise them, contact us at the address below.

Retention

Founding-list emails are kept for up to two years, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first. Account data is kept while your account is active, and for up to 12 months after deletion as described above. Restricted safety records are governed by our safety operating model.

Children

GreenLight is for business owners and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will post the new version here with a new effective date, and for material changes we will email account holders.
